I've been on eBay for a long time, and quickly realized that sniping was the best way to get what you wanted at the lowest price.
First I started sniping manually, but that was hit or miss - wasn't near a computer all the time.
Then I tried on of the sniping programs that runs on your computer. That didn't work well for a couple of reasons - had to have the computer on all the time, and my principal computer is a laptop that I travel with, second - if eBay made a change, then I had to download a new version of the software, this always took time and I always lost some bids, finally the software/hardware/network was not very reliable and that cuased me to lose bids.
Then I tried three different net based sniping tools, AuctionSniper being one of them. It's good that they let you try for free. AS was by far the best choice, and it has kept that position with new and improved functionality.
So - AS is the one for me.
