Adding to balance via paypal

hello there, i have just added to my account balance $5.00 via paypal, yet my account balance still reads the same as what it did before i done the payment, i'm fairly new to this , so does it take a little while to update?,thankyou in advance for any responses

p.s i had funds in my paypal account to cover the transfer, ie i used my paypal balance.

Transfer with a balance should be quick. Try signing out and back in?

(I just keep a credit card on file, so all I know is what I read on the forum)

Paypal payments could take up to a few days, but I think that is if you pay durring a weekend or late friday night and use a credit card.
