Several of my snipes were becoming "Canceled" through no action of mine. This confused me for several days, and I even began to wonder if somebody had gotten ahold of my password and was cancelling my snipes.
Finally I realized that some time ago the bid group had already won the max number of wins (I was reusing it now because I needed another one of the items). So Auction Sniper was cancelling my bid.
Why did AS allow me to place the bid in the first place? At the very least I should have been given a warning such as "You are placing a snipe in a bid group that has already won the max number of items. In order for your snipe to be placed you must increase the maximum number of wins in the bid group or move the snipe to a different group or folder." Had AS given me that message I would have had bids placed on several more auctions!
At the very least the status should be "Bid Group Complete" instead of the vague "Cancelled".
