A Question About Editing Posts...

This is the icon to look for:

It's at the top of your post, next to the post date/time.

You have 30 minutes to change or delete after posting.

Also, the only images I've been able to leave end in .gif or .jpg

Thank you Rick, but I do not see that icon anywhere near my posts.
I even tried logging out and back in again.

P.S. You'll only see the edit/delete icon on your own posts.

P.S. #2 - You might have to check the "Remember Me" when you log into the forum.

Thanks again for your help. It is very informative.

Nope, there is no edit icon. I have always used the "Remember Me" feature and never sign out to use AUction Snipe.

No biggie - I will just have to be sure that what I post is correct before I hit the button!

Bjt, it is to the right of the " " quote marks and has a pencil, to the left of the triangle sign. it is on the top band of your actual message. Click it and edit or you can delete the entire message if it is in the time period like Rick said. In fact, I just edited this message!

I know where it supposed to be, but it is not showing up for some reason.

Bjt, would you be able to cut and paste into a post here the symbols that DO appear to the right of the date/time on your posts?
