Its also quite a good idea to make your snipe amount an odd number (ie, $21.12 instead of $20), this could be the difference between winning and losing.

Also, depending when the auction ends, AS *might* adjust your lead time if it detects a lag in the response time. So, in theory, your bid will be placed at your selected lead time (5-10 seconds seems to be optimum).

That's probably my #1 sniping tip. And the lower the price the better it works because people are often within 25 cents to 1 dollar of eachother so you can often win by that few cents.
