5 seconds = 28 mins? O__O

Hi,
just this morning (CET Time) I won an auction with an offer made by AS, BUT the bid was done 28 minutes early (you can check here)....

I dont think this behaviour is norman, is it?
The lead time was set to 5 seconds.

Did AS Servers have problems today?

Luckily I wan the auction

, but not thanks to AS, since my bid wasn't too high and anybody could overbid me during those 28 minutes....

Ebay’s maintenance is between 23:00 Thursday (PST) and 1:00 Friday. Since ebay turns off various functions, AS places the bid before ebay’s weekly maintenance to make sure the bid can get placed.

Anyway, it was from 23:00, and my bid has been placed at 23:02, so I risked!
