Seeing the other post below (which I just saw), looks like either AS has a time skew or it's just too overloaded.

What makes you think that someone else was reacting? Couldn't he/she be a sniper like yourself?

If you read the forums and the FAQs you'll better understand how AS works and not jump to conclusions!

You'll also realise that bidding odd amounts helps you win in a tie, the person who came second (in the auction above) might have won if he'd added a penny or two to his bid and placed it as a snipe without nibbling!

Good luck with the manual sniping - use two alarm clocks to make sure you wake up in time for that item that finishes overnight!
