I have had an eBay account since 1998. I have had a PayPal account since 2000. As far as I know, the two accounts have been linked since Day One! I have always been able to import eBay wins into PayPal for payment and to access my PayPal account from my eBay auctions. This is the craziest thing I have ever heard of! I did "link" the two accounts to be certain that they are indeed "joined," and then I started to worry that this might have some adverse effect on future snipes--like the PayPal security key I read about. Do I need to be concerned?quote:This seller has set buyer requirements for this item and only sells to buyers who meet those requirements.
You are unable to bid on or buy this item because: You either don't have a PayPal account or your PayPal account is not linked to your eBay account.
We encourage you to register with PayPal - it is the fast, easy and safe way to pay. Register with PayPal | Already have a PayPal account?
I am going to write to the Seller and ask why she blocked my bid just to make sure it was for the reason that eBay gave. However, before I do, I want to be certain that the Seller has absolutely no way to tell that my last second bid is being placed by AS rather than by me manually. Can anyone confirm this?
Many thanks!
