It wont work. The items must end at least a few seconds apart otherwise we dont have time to figure out if you've won one item before bidding on the next item in your bidgroup.

It's the one pitfall of bidgroups and is a bummer since some sellers list all their items at exactly the same time. Not very smart of them but eBay has never made it easy for them to spread out their listings like they ought to.

Thank you
Everywhere I read people are having problems winning too many bids when the bid times are the same or too close. I have the opposite problem, I don't get any. I get not in time error messages and it almost always is the next bid group item that is within a few seconds of each other. I thought that this was the whole purpose of bid groups but it is not working for me.
Well, after reading the above posts, I have to ask: are we asking too much of technology?

I mean in this age of DSL, T-1, T-3, etc, we still have to remember that it takes TIIIIME (say it with me) for AS to communicate with eBay. AS must first determine who won the auction before deciding whether to snipe again. And remeber, AS queues up the snipes 2 FULL minutes prior to snipe time. That means that the auctions must end at least 2 minutes apart, for AS to have time to queue up the next snipe.

I may be unique, but the bid groups I've created all had end times at least that amount of time apart, usually way more.

Anyway, that was m2cw.

Have a pleasant evening, I have snipes to set up. Bye! Big Grin
