When I went to the UK 'My Snipes' page it said, at the top where the message usually is about Buyer Manager, that my ebay password was not correct. Being the switched on cookie, I went to Import Snipes and it worked fine thus proving that my Id and Password were fine.

AuctionSniper Notification!

We were unable to verify your eBay username and/or password.
Please check your account preferences to make sure they are correct.

Then I noticed that Update Prices, Import Wizard, and Snipe Calendar buttons were all missing from above my list of snipes. Clicked on the USA flag and there they were.

Hey Sara, what's happening to the UK 'My Snipes' page? Is it haunted? Or are your programmers releasing software without proper QA again? Roll Eyes

[Just checked - Australia has the same problem!]

And the answer is...

Database Maintenance
We are currently doing maintenance on our database. Every Thursday from approximately 1AM to 2:30AM PST we perform necessary functions to keep our system running smoothly. This time matches when eBay does their database upkeep. All snipes set to go off during our required maintenance period are placed just before we go offline in order to give you the best chance of still winning the item.

Never had the above cause that problems before, but it is working right on My Snipe page now.
eBay appears to have made some changes to their site that have some of our programming messed up a bit.

Ignore the message about your userId or password being incorrect, they are wrong.

Snipes are firing correctly so there is no need to worry about that.

Engineers will fix the incorrect messages due to the changes to eBay site first thing in the morning.

Sorry for the troubles.

Any chance you’ll put “it” up for auction? How about doing a BIN? Probably would be best to leave feedback right before “it” is shipped, or departed. Instead of my leaving feedback, I’ll send a positive wreath. How soon after shipping will the TOS be finalized, or should I say put to rest? I understand that any chance of returning “it” will be extinct. I have a lot of dead time on my hands, so hopefully I can urn enough money to afford “it”. Reincarnation fees would be a killer.
