Backstory:

I've used AS pretty much since it and ebay started, and I've won well over 500 auctions. I bid exclusively with AS (never on ebay directly).

For the first time ever I've had a problem, not with AS or ebay, but with a dumbass seller.

The item I bought was badly not as described and the seller refused to refund so I opened a dispute.

What has this got to do with AS, you ask.

I am a UK buyer and the item was from a UK seller, however AuctionSniper puts its bid in on ebay.com (USA). This is perfectly fine unless you find yourself in my situation: a dispute must be opened with the ebay site on which you placed your bid, so my dispute was opened on ebay.com (USA).

The problem is that ebay customer services can't easily deal with issues outside their country, so in the end I had a hell of a time escalating the case through the USA customer services.

It all turned out ok in the end, but the question is: is there any way to get AS to bid on ebay.co.uk (or indeed any specific ebay site), or is it restricted to ebay.com?

Thanks.

(it all turned out ok, I got a full refund from PayPal, and am now trying to get the seller to understand why he needs to pay the return postage if he wants his item back)
