Jake, heh, well I guess she had to have her stomache suctioned for the amniotic fluids that were causing her to throw up. But after that she's doing fine. Went home yesterday. I haven't talked to my daughter today. Trying not to be the pesty grandma.

I sure could hold her all day today tho. I just got a quick note from my son in Baghdad. He said the missles and bombs are flying over their heads and landing less than a third mile from them. I'm a wreck. Frown Any prayers you all could spare today for him would be greatly appreciated. He will be convoying soon and that is even more scarey. Damn terrorists!! Mad
THINKING OF YOU

This morning as I rose from bed
and saw the sun above,
I softly said "Good Morning God,
bless everyone I love".
And right away I thought of you
and said a loving prayer
That He would bless you specially
and keep you free from care.
I thought of all the happiness
your day could hold in store;
And wished it all for you,
because no one deserves it more.
I felt so warm and good inside,
my heart was all aglow
I know God heard my prayer for you,
He hears them all you know.

You and you family are in our thoughts and prayers, and will remain there until Derek's safe return. I ate at Carl's Jr. last night and noticed their America flag was badly torn. In an effort to have it lowered and removed until a sutiable replacement could be secured, I was getting excuses as to why the flag could not be taken down. I got Dekek's picture from my car (that you had posted) and explained what he (and so many others) were fighting for and the harsh living condtions they had to endure. The manager called the district manager and the flag was removed and a replacement ordered.
Oh my gosh Jake, you are unbelievable!! I have tears from the poem, the wishes, and that you have such respect for what my son is doing.I'm going to print out your message and give it to hime when he gets home. I wish everyone were like you. Thank you so much. I'm having such a hard day. And I know it will be hard until I hear he has gotten home safely. Part of the security is keeping exact dates and times of movement secret. I understand this, but it is so hard when we don't know where they are and what's happening. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. You are a great bunch of friends, and I can't believe I'm so lucky to have found you all.
Bless you and your loved ones too.
