Are you adding it from the My Snipes tab itself?

There does seem to be a problem that came up with AOL starting yesterday. We're not sure why but if it's something we did we'll fix it.

For now there is an easy solution:

#1 use Internet Explorer outside of AOL. Do not use AOL's web browser.

#2 If #1 doesnt work then use any other web browser, Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape, Opera, etc.

#3 file a support case on our help tab.

I don't use the toolbar thingy (I just haven't gotten around to figuring it out yet). I just go to the auctionsnipe site and load my auctions every morning using the My Snipes page. I fill in the max amount, item # and hit the add box and... nothing.

Please help. My laptop is supposed to be for work only, so I can't depend on it every day. I need to be able to use my desktop and AOL.
I'm on AOL, and new, and am having a lot of problems Frown.

My free snipes worked fine, but I have 1 left, and have submitted Paypal details, yet can't get any snipes to work.

The links from one part of the site to another are all live. I've increased cookie allowance, yet if I click on any buttons on Auctionsniper, they don't lead anywhere.

I'm serioulsy thinking of doing a chargeback on Paypay; but I enjoyed the first couple of snipes, so am willing to give it a chance, if someone will just tell me what to do.
Thanks in advance
Use the File a Support request link on the Help tab.

This is an AOL bug with Microsoft .NET 1.1 sp2 and I believe we have a way for you to fix it on your computer. I think it's only about a week old update from Microsoft. Normally we wait to install these but with some other worms on the internet we patched all our servers a few days ago and this was a side effect.
Hi Everyone. I'm having trouble doing anything except view the pages. I can't modify a snipe, add a snipe or set-up a bidgroup. I'm running Outlook 6 SP1 so it's not just an AOL thing. I,ve turned off my Pop-up Stopper and my Firewall but it doesn't semm to be making any difference. Everything was OK before the site was updated a few days ago.
If you're trying to cancel snipes and can't, best thing to do is change your password at eBay. AS will not be able to sign in and bid for you.

Warning... AS will still attempt to sign in and bid. This may cause an extra security measure to be taken at eBay. eBay will think someone is trying to hack into your account. You may need to enter extra information while signing in.

The extra security measure at eBay is reset each night, but if AS attempts to bid for you again the next day before your password is changed back to normal, it may trigger the extra security again.

If the extra security is in effect at eBay, AS can not bid for you, even if your ID and password match.
Hi . . . It's happened to me too, since last night. I've got 4 snipes I wanted to cancel, but when I hit cancel nothing happened. I even sent a request to their Support area, but no reply. So now I've won 2 auctions I didn't want to bid on, and have 2 more that I'll probably get stuck with too. I'm going to be looking around for another snipe site - this one is just not reliable . . .

I've been reading other people say they think the problem may be AOL. So I just opened Internet Explorer outside AOL and I WAS able to cancel my 2 remaining snipes. Thanks everyone for the tip! (Now if they can just get AOL right.)
