Welcome Grizzly

Great to see the name - I used to use Grizzly or Hillbear as a handle but went back to my name. Was raised in Montana Grizzly country and really like the name. So come out of the Den and stand tall and sharpen them up.. The trees are strong but bend and are very useful and helpful. AGAIN Welcome - mory
Thanks for the welcomes.

Mory, I was born in Los Angeles, and have spent the last half of my life in Tulsa, OK. I've never made it up to Montana (yet), but was able to spend a week in Yellowstone, backpacking.

If you saw me, you'd understand my handle. Do you remember the TV show "Grizzly Adams"? My current appearance is very similar to him. (And my last name is Adams, too) Smile
The mental picture is "clear as clear can be" as Adams used to say...

I staffed the Port of Entry at Rockdale -
Southern entrance to Yellowstone for a couple years.. Had two pet grizzly cubs and taught them to sit in a tire swinging from a rope for the tourists. When 100 lbs had to release them to the wild. Ten years later when running a trap line out of Olnes Alaska - near Fairbanks I caught one in a trap by mistake. It was badly self injured and had to put it down. I've relived the incident for years in dreams. again....welcome ...... mory
