I went through the signup procedure last night. I have three auctions that I want to win but will not be able to access eBay Thursday. I set up the three snipes with confidence. Tonight I discovered the Thursday afternoon maintenance schedule. The two most important auctions end 40 minutes after the maintenance begins. One would think maintenance could be performed in the middle of the night. 11 AM on a weekday is a strange time for a service like this to schedule down time.
Now I'm trying to find a temporary solution.
