I just won a couple of auctions from a seller who does not take PayPal. Frown They take PayDirect and Western Union (who mail money orders for outrageous fees) and credit cards on their personal shopping cart site. This is my first dealing with them, so I don't trust them with my CC#.

So, where's the best (and cheapest) place to buy a money order? It doesn't have to be an international MO, since we are both in the USA.

Usually those check cashing places only give you the free money orders if you take out a payday loan or if you cash a check with them.

You're better off using your credit card. If they do use it fruadlantly, you just report it to the CC company and close the account. Not that big of a deal and you wont have to pay for the fraudlant orders.

Dont worry, it isnt gonna get any better. There is talk of gasoline going up to $2.00 a gallon by summer and not coming back down. They are working to put oil prices in the USA in line with the rest of the world.
