I'm with you though. I don't see anything overly suspicious. How did they know when to stop? Many bid this way, especially those new to eBay who don't know how a proxy bid works.

Roxe, you're right about sniping though. They would have stoped bidding had they taken the lead. A snipe could have (as in maybe) won it for less.
