I always get a vicarious thrill out of reading about someone's first successful snipe. I can almost feel that adrenaline rush all over again. "DAYUM," indeed! Thanks for the fun, dagnabitgrabit!

If you follow Rick's advice you won't go far wrong, believe me. Eight seconds is what I use for a lead time, too, with the usual exceptions for certain auction closing times. In Kipling's "The Jungle Book" the customary salutation from the wolfpack was "Good hunting!" So, good hunting!
