Perhaps Karen was successful (success either being she got her ring, or pissed off the seller, or emasculated the seller’s “great retaliation technique”, or all three). On the re-listed auction for the ring, the seller revised the auction to the following text:
Title: Auction Cancelled Too many dealers & crooks - Cancelled do not bid
Description: The auction has been cancelled due to ebay turning into a site full of sharks & scammers they do not regulate their auctions & I therefore will not be using ebay to sell. Auctions r corrupted the last minute bidding system blocks people out.

The auction is still active but at this point I’m having difficulty determining the actual item a buyer would bid on and, should the buyer win with a snipe, IF and WHAT the seller would or wouldn't ship.
