What happens when the eBay seller is a dud?

I won an auction using AS... I've contacted the seller 3 times now and still no response. (Shame too cause he's got lots of stuff I'd love to bid on....)
Is there a way to get a credit for a dud deal? Just curious. I know it isn't any fault of AS.
