Sara's reply was factual, helpful and appreciated. I understand that AS doesn't want user names that reflect badly -- fair enough. (Can you point me to any guidance in your help so I don't upset AS again?)

Re R2's response, that is simply misleading and plain sad. Did you get out of the wrong side of bed today?

FACT: It looks like Auction Sniper has failed to place two potentially winning bids for me, because it could not login in time (on a 12 second lead time). SOLUTION: I shall increase my bid lead time.

But if R2 persists with this personal abuse on the forum, I may just change my sniping provider. Which would be a pity, because Auction Sniper has served me well over the past couple of years.
