You're right, there are lots of sugar based cereals in the store and lots of kids eat them. I don't know how these cereal manufacturers get away with describing a lot of them as a healthy breakfast.

I always make my own cereal. I put some grains through the grain grinder the last thing at night along with about the right amount of water for them to expand. The next morning I start the burner under it and it's ready in 5 to 10 minutes. I also grind coffee beans in the morning and have at least one pot of coffee. I do all my cooking from scratch or as close to it as possible. I grind wheat into flour to make bread, etc., but that's not the norm for around here. Come to think of it, that sort of thing probably isn't the norm anywhere. Oh, well. Who wants to be normal anyway? Razz
