I've been doing this a while, and I haven't had anybody else complain, either. I was not aware that they had any way of knowing their auction had been sniped! Sure, if they were sitting at the computer watching each and every auction till the last second, but I doubt they all do that, especially if they list multiple items. I don't remember, but I am probably guilty of being in a big hurry when I signed up for AS, so I never noticed that InstaMail advertisement, and I was shocked when the seller forwarded it to me. In fact, one of the comments was, "you PAY somebody to do this for you?"! In my opinion, the InstaMail advertisement is a bad thing. I'm just very sorry that I wasn't aware of it before!!! If a blocking feature isn't possible, and I were that seller, I'd simply indicate on all future auctions, "snipers not welcome." If they want to cut off their nose, then let them!
