Reply to "Snipe twice on one item?"

I've just joined this sniping thing and to my surprise AS put in 2 bids for me for the same amount - and I still won but I don't understand why AS bid twice. Could it be because I changed the lead time from my first choice - so I modified it.

Odd. Doesn't make sense to me. I've still got my third free snipe, but eBay definitely shows 2 bids from me.
