There will always be hard feelings as long as people refuse to follow eBay advice and not enter the max they are willing to pay. Most bidders enter what they HOPE to pay instead of what they are WILLING to pay. In my eyes, THAT'S being cheap.

You're among the minority if you end your auctions early.
(not saying you're wrong here, just a fact)

Me? I want the highest price I can get, and would NEVER end an auction early to block a better selling price. If the early bid is higher they will still win, if not, perhaps they will begin to understand how bidding at eBay really works.
