Being a Mancunian I guess she saw right through my Shallow Southern Shell and realised I was a merchant Banker straight away.

Explanation of the above:
1. Mancunian = someone from Manchester in the North of England
2. Southern - someone from the South of England - considered not as 'hard' as their northern compatriates.
3. Merchant Banker. Cockney Rhyming slang for... I'll let you work that out.
