Ebay may need more servers to handle a higher volume of traffic, but the added revenue from the additional business should pay for the added equipment. If a restaurant needs more seats to accommodate the reservations it has to turn down, they don't expand and then raise their prices to pay the additional rent. They expand and run specials to fill up the added space. GIVE ME A BREAK! Telling me I have to pay more because Ebay has to spend more to accommodate the additional business they are doing is ridiculous.
