We're in the process of introducing a new distance sort based on ZIP Codes, and the old Items Near Me filter will be going away.

During the transition period, you can use the "Customize" link in the "Search Options" section in the left nav of search and listings pages to add the Items Near Me filter to your page.

In the coming days, we'll add a new option to the Sort drop-down menu on Search results pages: "Distance: nearest first." For the first time, buyers will be able to sort search results by distance from their ZIP Code. That will help sellers who live in areas that were not listed in eBay's old regions list. It will also help buyers to find items that they would not have seen using the old Items Near Me filter.
