What do you mean by this reserve policy being new? It's always been like that (well a couple of years anyway), i.e. the lead bid would jump to the reserve amount as soon as someone actually bid over the reserve, and in all categories, not just motors. Unless it was just a UK thing??!? Maybe someone can post the basics of the "announcement" or a URL because I can't see what's changed!
