Question regarding bidding.

Heya people.

I was just wondering, as this is really my first time doing this and ebay itself, will this online software incremental bid?

ie. If I were to tell AS that I had a limit of $10 for an auction item, and the current bid was at $5, and then someone were to bid $6 just before the closing, would AS then bid $7 to beat it or the full $10?
