HI. The best way I have found is
1. Find the gizmo on ebay,
2. Use eBays, completed section (see left hand colum on the ebay page) and ask for them to be shown lowest price first (option just above the listings) . That way you can see what is the lowest price for that gizmo and what an adverage price is for that gizmo.

Then, set up a Bid Group folder for that gizmo on AS. Find all of those gizmos you can and put them into AS's Bid Group folder at the max price you want to pay.
I tend to stay on the low side of the adverage or even just above the minimum paid. Sooner or later you will win one at a good savings. You just have to hang in there and wait.
It just depends on how anxious you are to win. and you are right to use odd numbers, but it would make more sense to use the 59, 69, 79, etc than 91. But that is just my thoughts.
