Thanks for your input Camera Collector. I agree with you that the results depend on the sample size, and if you search something that has 10 or less total auctions, it is very difficult to tell the best time to list. If you think that you should look at the amount of bids, a graph of the bid amounts is provided.

But I think that if you are selling jewelery, there is a time of day that more people are on that buy jewelery then another time of day. And, most of the bids placed on an item happen within 10 minutes of the time it ends. If you list jewelery at 3 in the morning, not many people will be awake to bid on it.
