Lol, R2... You write poll questions the way our politicians do over here...

I voted I don't care. Mine is off, and believe most that use AS have it turned off, but AS is only trying to advertise, and uses the 'industry norm'.
i.e. Do you want to receive future offers?
May we share your email address with our partners?
Subscribe to our weekly newsletter?
ect... all these default to ON and have to be turned off at most sites.

While the description during sign-up is a little misleading, (and the email itself) most would have to realize some sort of advertisement would also be included. Even if the ad were not there, I still would not use insta-mail. The seller already gets my shipping information from eBay and/or PayPal by using the Pay Now button.
