When we lived in Tennessee, the population was not heavy. Neighbors knew each other. If someone needed help. you need not ask, your neighbors would be there. Here, for an example, the population is heavy. My husband had the rescue and ambulance here and they took him to the hospital. Not one neighbor even asked why. In fact, when the driver got lost and went to a neighbor's house, she would not even come to the door to direct them!
