Its not a new camera, Hubbie just managed to fix the Sony (after I dropped it). I am hunting down the new Minolta DiMage Z1 on ebay. Apparently of the under $1000 mark, its the best camera on the market. We are not having another Sony as they chew the batteries too quickly. I was keen on the Kodak DX6490, but was talked out of it because of their after sales history

There are just way too many camera's on the market
