I have a seller that gave me an Unpaid Item Reminder. It was an adult item; it said no online payment cash, check or money order. I used Bidpay to try and send him (via us mail) a money order. He rejected it and said he doesn't take online payments. I had another item I was bidding with him and asked if he would take a check and could I wait until the second item was won or lost. I won. Today was the tenth day of the original item but 4 days after the second (I mailed a check on Monday.) My questions are
1) As sellers do you consider a Money order purchased online and sent via US Mail as an online payment?
2) Once you post one of these unpaid items do you give the user any time? (He is responding to my responses every hour so I feel to maintain my position I need to respond.)
3) I responded and he said I should know not to use Bidpay. He said If I mailed a check it would be there (I am west coast he is east coast) I am trying to be polite and get him paid on time, needless to say I will never bid on one of his auctions again. I have a 100% positive feedback and except for adult items I always use Paypal and pay right away.
