'Its not the hurrcanes really its 80 year old power line sytem where the most importanting thing is hiding the lines in 15-20 foot trees that have thathave 12 inch roots there all fslling down from being wet so everyline almost is or has been on the ground. they pt 75 foot concrete polls last year stoped after 4 people said they were ugly. no power no business no economy that 100 offer was high, its worth the swamp its sits on"
Goodness, where do you live in Fl. that they stopped using concrete poles? I lived in Naples and they installed special poles and crossing lights all over the city. It does look like south Fl. will be spared this hurricane...I hope!
