Obligatory Newbie Question!!!

hey, so there's this item I just *have* to have

Umm....I am curently the highest bidder, as I hadn't thought about auction sniping until after placing the bid

If I set up an auction snipe now, will I end up outbidding myself at the end?

The current bid is £10.50, so, say I bid £20 on AS, how would that work? Would it go to the next increment? Or would it stay at £10.50, if no one else bids obviously?!!
