I bought one of the old ribbon re-inkers for a job once ... what a mess! We eventually started having the locations send their used cartriges to us at the main office and then did them in batches of about 10-15. Definately needed plenty of gloves and newspaper for this one

I think now, with the newer 'ink jet' cartriges, most of the re-inkers involve syringes where you inject the ink into the appropriate sections. Would be much easier!

Hmmm ... now I'm getting upset thinking that 'ink jet' cartriges are new! Durn! I be getting old

Oh, well ... At least I didn't mention my 12cps (yes, thats 'characters per second') daisy wheel printer!
