Reply to "Newbie with bid group question"

Hey Bone,
Make sure you enter them in a BID GROUP wont you?

The other thing is, I would have say a 5 second lead time on the first item, then its nearly guaranteed to get there on time. Then 1 second for the other 2.

AS WONT bid on the others until it confirms the first snipe was/wasnt won. Also, make your bids an odd amount (ie. $20.58 rather than $20)

This is the quote from Sara (AS Support)....
quote:
You put 3 items into a bid group that ended only a total of 12 seconds apart. Then you set 10 second lead times on them.

How are we supposed to know if you won if we have to bid before the previous item closes? We cant bid on time because we have to wait to see if you won the first item before bidding on the second item. etc.

You should use 1 second lead times on items like that. And in general bid group items are safest if at least 10-20 seconds apart.

Good Luck and Snipe your MAX as its not the last bid, but the highest that wins Smile
