They say it takes two to tango - and in this case, if somebody else came along and bid $4,800 you would certainly win! Paying $4900 for a $750 object would be pretty foolish don't you think?

If you want to win, certainly bid the highest amount you can afford. However if the market price
is $800, then bid that at the most.

There is an old saying that an auction is a place "where greed and stupidity meet"

Never, ever, get carried away. Like a bus, another object of desire is bound to turn up - sooner or later!
