I do get sent warning emails when AS sees my snipe limit is too low. However, for them to be sent in real time would mean AS having to check everyone's snipes every second. This is impractical. I expect they check periodically.

Hos Lin Snip - you just have to accept that with sniping, you get one shot at it. There is no time to come back with a higher bid. If it turns out your bid was too low, you have to feel the frustration that other lowballers out there have when we snipe them!
