Avatars haven't been downloadable on BM (same company as AS) either, so I would assume this was a business decision, and not because of “revenge”. The search problem is an Infopop problem, something outside of AS’ control.
BM has also disabled private messaging (Infopop's default is set to disabled). It’s probably best. AS maybe under the belief that this forum is here to help snipers, and that’s why they pay for it.
It was like the decision to cut down pictures – just a business decision, and not because of whiners.
Who knows – maybe Sara was being included in too many private topics.
