Can see no reason why AS failed to bid - the auction ended at 20:00:57 BST on Sunday 22nd Oct so I guess it was down to Sunday Evening Slowness (SES).

Email the seller and tell him him of your PC problems (don't mention AS as some sellers don't like it) and see if he'll sell off-ebay...
