but that is what makes them so loveable. Mine is almost 18 years old, has a tumor, and is diabetic (yes, insulin shots twice a day). Back on Sept. 20, 2003, the vet told me about the tumor and stated that she might only live another three months; well, this morning she screamed for her food in the usual way and dove right in (not quite as bad as the kitten in the dish picture). Actually, if she is still around the middle of April, she will be 18.
