Missed Snipe - what happened?

I tried a snipe, but somehow it registered me as not having a high enough price -- But I exceeded the final sales price by a significant margin -(mine was $175.55 and it sold for $157.51) any idea what happened?
About 10 minutes before it closed, I raised my snipe to the $175.55 - this was after I noticed that it was going over $150, about 2 minutes before it actually closed.
The ebay item was:
7106539426

Note: I had manually put in a couple of bids about an hour before it closed - that was when I then went to snipe it at a much higher price.
