My worst was probably a near-lifesize stuffed toy husky which looked great in the photo, but when it arrived the stuffing had worked its way out of the legs so I couldn't get it to sit up - it just sort of subsided in a heap.

It was also too big for me to find any space for it. Why that hadn't occurred to me before I let enthusiasm get the better of me, I don't know.

It got a very good home after I donated it to a raffle in aid of Husky Rescue.
