Jamming Ebay during the last seconds of an Auction...

Hello,

some time ago I've experienced that my last seconds bid set with AS didn't get placed... I asked for possible reasons and I found out that it happened because it was a Sunday evening...and on Sunday evenings there are too many users connected to Ebay and their sistem slows down... so I decided to try to slow down Ebay on my convenience and I did an experiment... last Sunday I've been bidding on an Item with 8 different Auction Snipers selecting various lead times and bids slightly higher according to the lower lead time ( at 3secs I selected my highest bid )... only one bid out of 8 took place... and I won the Auction... At this point I'm not so sure about the result of my experiment... Did I jam myself risking to not placing a single bid on the "desired" item OR I succeded in overloading Ebay's bidding system avoiding oder bidders to place their bids (I got this Item for the half of my highest bid!) ????
