Don't tell me this forum had a "hiccup". I was refreshing up to the last second of that topic, and I didn't experience any problems. I could have easily placed a manual post snipe. If Steve was able to post snipe another topic, this forum should have been able to place my automated post snipe. Admit it - this forum didn't place my post snipe because someone, and I know who, hacked into your computers and cancelled my post snipe.
Since the topic I wanted to post snipe ended at 5:00 AM, I can no longer place a higher post amount on that topic. And I really wanted to win that topic. I've never seen a topic like that on this forum, or any forum.
I would have won that topic had my post snipe been placed, because ..... . Well? It's true I don't know the high poster's post amount. But still, that's no reason for me not to jump up and down and make a fool of myself (it never has before).
And, no need to remind me; I've already filed a claim for my free post snipe (little good that does).
But, like everyone says, there's sure to be another topic and it will probably cost less, at least in time.
P.S. Regarding my Counter Trial - the 1st topic I watched had more counts and more posts then the 2nd topic, which had nothing to do with the 1st, as the 1st had nothing to do with the 2nd, as both had nothing to do with either. Now this is the interesting part: I changed my post amount on the 1st one but not the 2nd one and I lost both of them. Conclusion: counters are no predictor; you lose either way.
