In your example, the ONLY way the bid history would show a jump from $10 to $30 (ebay’s bid increment is 50 cents at $10 and not $20) is on an auction with a reserve of $30.

Just for kicks, how about posting a link to an auction that provides an example of what you are questioning in this topic.
